An Innovative and Original Chair Inspired by Bauhaus Architecture and Design

assetta_TE is a simple and smart chair, with sharp and essential forms. The formal elegance comes from an old and noble material like wood and tempered glass. The chair consists of two wooden elements: the backrest support and the seat/support, joined together through a tempered glass element. This unique design feature sets it apart from other chairs.

The chair's construction is a testament to the designer's attention to detail and craftsmanship. The media section of the wooden elements is thicker to allow the insertion of the tempered glass, which serves as both a connection and a structural element. The wooden parts or the external outlines get thinner to lend the chair lightness and grace.

Walter Iafrate, the mastermind behind assetta_TE, started this project in September 2016 in Rome. His vision was to create a chair that seamlessly blends elegance and innovation, and he has certainly achieved that.
